And they’re off in the 2026 Abingdon Marathon across our Race Arch with a Timing Clock started and timing chips on their bibs recording their Gun and Chip Times.
At the finish the Race Announcer was able to call the runners home via the use of a sensor across the far side of the track which provided the race number and competitors names to enable him to call them out as they crossed the finish line.
Our results service updated the results on the internet within 15 seconds of each runner completing the race. This included being able to provide results for Gender and Age Group results so that the winners could easily be identified and enjoy their moment on the podium.
Split times can also be added to the service. Get in touch if you require a full professional Race Timing Service.
