Race Event Services

Whether your race is a run, cycle, triathlon or fun event with thousands of participants or just a few we are able to provide accurate timing for all participants.

 

The “B” and “D” Tags are single use tags that are affixed to the race bib, shoe or bike and have been proven in UK races and Marathons with in excess of 30000 competitors. They deliver significant benefits to race organisers and athletes:

Our service includes:

 

• Applying all the tags to your Race Bibs. With the exception of late entrants.
  
• Supplying Gun Times and Individual Times and the break down times into various categories such as age groups.
  
• Printing of the results in real time at the Finish Line.
  
• Providing full race data to you at the conclusion of the race.
  
• Publishing the results to our website within 2 hours of the final finisher.
  
• Staying at a local hotel the night before a morning race start. Applicable where your event is over 100 miles from our base.

The System:

 

• Tags are provided by Chronotrack www.chronotrack.com and we have been certified as official Chronotrack Users.
  
• Hardened plastic boards containing antenna using UHF RFID technology are placed on the road. The antenna reads the chip on the participants bid as each athlete runs over the board at the start and again at the finish and feeds the data back to the Race Timer.
  
• Units are highly resistant to interference from any external factor.
  
• Once the race is complete the Tag is redundant and there is no need to collect the Tag.
  
• The Recording of Race Times has a proven level of accuracy which beats or is equal to any other timing system available on the market.
